자연과 지역을 연결하는 회복의 건축
본 프로젝트는 전라남도 구례군에 워케이션 센터를 제안하여 자연환경의 회복과 지역 경제의 활성화를 동시에 실현하는 새로운 건축 모델을 제시한다. 골프장 개발 과정에서 발생한 산림 훼손과 지역 사회의 갈등, 관광 산업의 침체를 하나의 복합적인 문제로 바라보고, 자연·사람·지역 경제를 연결하는 지속가능한 인프라를 계획하였다.

단순한 업무시설이 아닌, 일과 휴식, 문화, 커뮤니티가 유기적으로 결합되는 공간을 구성하였다. 지형을 따라 확장되는 건축은 주변 숲과 연속적인 관계를 형성하며, 다양한 중정과 공용 공간, 순환 동선을 통해 자연 속에서 새로운 업무와 교류의 경험을 제공한다. 이를 통해 건축은 훼손된 환경을 복원하는 것을 넘어 지역의 새로운 활력을 만들어내는 플랫폼으로 기능한다.
 
Architecture for Ecological Recovery

This project proposes a Workation Center in Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do, as a new architectural model that simultaneously supports ecological recovery and regional revitalization. Responding to environmental degradation caused by golf course development, local social conflict, and the decline of tourism, the project redefines architecture as an infrastructure connecting nature, human activity, and the local economy.

Rather than functioning as a conventional workplace, the project integrates work, leisure, culture, and community within a landscape-responsive environment. The building extends along the natural topography, creating a continuous relationship with the surrounding forest through courtyards, public gathering spaces, and interconnected circulation. By encouraging people to experience and engage with nature, the proposal positions architecture as a catalyst for sustainable recovery and long-term regional resilience.
